Although we can take different creative approaches, we work beautifully together to offer beautiful photography to individuals and businesses all over Brighton and beyond.

Brighton born and bred, I love the City. It’s willingness to embrace diversity and creativity has had a huge influence on my upbringing and working life and I feel very lucky to be able to do a job that I love.
You may see me from time to time nipping around the City in my easy to park silver smart car, making any job possible where size really does matter!
I recognised the importance of having a physical high street presence and opened the studio on Oxford St in 2014. It was the best decision I made and I feel an established part of the Brighton photographic scene.
Having Michael join me has really made a positive impact. He’s a great asset as the business continues to grow.

Hi, I’m Michael, Studio Assistant at Nick Ford Photography.
I’ve known Nick since I was very young as my grandparents are neighbours to the studio. We first met when I approached him for advice on my photography when studying at GCSE level. I’ve worked with Nick on and off on an adhoc basis, helping out at events and general studio assisting, for around 4 years. This changed in January 2020 where I popped into the studio to catch up with Nick and was offered a more permanent role at the studio as Nick was getting too busy for one person to keep up with.
Like Nick, I have been lucky enough to explore many countries around the world which has allowed me to take some beautiful images. My most recent destination being New Zealand.
I specialise in a more candid ‘documentary’ style whereas Nick’s charismatic and bubbly demeanour lends itself perfectly for the more set up and posed shots. Due to this, we cover a wide range of styles and us-cases so whatever the job is, we can fulfil your personal needs.
Hi, I’m Lucy, the newest addition to Nick Ford Photography team!
I may not be the one behind the camera, but I bring my own unique spark to the studio. With a love for theatre and acting, my bubbly personality and passion for the arts infuse creativity into our workspace.
My role primarily revolves around making outbound calls and sending emails. I’m dedicated to building connections and ensuring our clients receive the attention they deserve. I’m the friendly voice on the other end of the line, always ready to assist you with any inquiries or requirements.
When I’m not taking care of our clients’ needs, you’ll likely find me exploring Brighton’s vibrant theatre scene. My love for acting and the arts adds a special and delightful touch to our studio.
I’m truly excited to be an integral part of the team at Nick Ford Photography. I look forward to the opportunity to assist you with my ever-helpful and cheerful demeanor.
Be it a passport photo, corporate event or the biggest day of your life we are here to help. Professional photography is what we do. With a combined 20 years’ experience in the photographic industry, we’ve been round long enough to prove we must be doing something right!
The studio has been home to many exhibitions and we’ve hosted some fantastic shoots with great people. It’s a clean white space with the option of different coloured backdrops and a range of lighting options, customised to meet your needs.
With two studio workstations we have the ability to turnaround projects in a timely manner whilst keeping our high standards. We love to whistle while we work, and the editing process is usually accompanied by some belting ballads and disney classics.
